Do your best impression of speaking French!

Tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 7 p.m., the French Language Meetup Group of Washington will be hosting a “French conversation happy hour mode” at Tabaq Bistro on U Street. The venue has a great view of the city from the upstairs and the event is the chance to quaff wine while sharing the wonders of le francais! I am looking forward to talking openly about my huge crush on President Nicolas Sarkozy. I can’t be alone on this, he did marry a supermodel after all.

This is a great event for those who can speak conversational French (or can get by when intoxicated), but the group also hosts occasional events for beginning French speakers. It is “open to everyone with similar interests for the French language, Francophone culture, and meeting other Francophiles in the DC area.”
