Welcome to Fun-Employment! The lovely city is full of free. This site will help guide the young and thrifty (the unemployed, the unpaid interns, the exploited, the indebted and the just plain cheap) to the best and most affordable events this town has to offer. Sure, you have already toured the Capitol Building (bonus if you took the underground subway to the Senate buildings), meandered through the Smithsonians, and read the Gettysburg Address off the walls of the Lincoln Memorial, but I will try to bring you more to do! Every day, I will be posting a new adventure for the youth of the nation’s capital living on a low budget.
A short intro: I was laid off this year from a job in marketing and media relations. Unlike most of the people I know, I have not attempted to grow a mustache this year, although I am trying to grow out a pixie cut that had a tendency to morph into a mullet. Other than that, I spend my time writing, doing yoga and hating on my roommates cats. Any comments or suggestions, please send them my way.
